Amy has had the privilege to serve as the founder and artistic director of Aimed Dance, a 501(c)3 performing arts organization, since 2006. Originally formed as Rednerrus Feil Dance Company, the company has developed along with the artist and taken on many roles as producer of the Annual Huntsville Community Dance Concert (2007 - 2011) and multiple evening length performances such as UNO, The Golden Ticket, Into-Me-See, and La Lunette d'Approach. As members of our community, Amy Elizabeth and Company have assisted in relief from distasters such as Hurrican Harvey and Tropical Storm Imelda providing resources and supplies to local dancers and dance studios. Most recently, Aimed Dance has focused our energy on empowering our community youth through dance educational scholarships and programs to provide such resources.
Amy served as company manager and liaison to the US for VIVO Ballet, an international contemporary dance company from Rome, Italy, as they transitioned the company to New York where they now reside as a leading force in the industry.
Amy holds an M.B.A. in experimental entrepreneurship and leadership from Lamar University with a focus in the arts. This experience has opened doors for mentorships and service membership with local organizations such as the Southeast Texas Arts Council and the Downtown Beaumont Cultural Arts District.
